Scope of Agreement & Client Acceptance

Welcome to Degree. By accessing our official website, placing an order, or commissioning a bespoke creation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them thoroughly before finalizing any acquisition.

These terms govern all transactions, services, and communications between Degree and its patrons worldwide. Any special arrangements agreed upon with our Private Concierge must be confirmed in writing.

Artisanal Craftsmanship & Natural Hide Variations

Every Degree creation is individually crafted using full-grain Tuscan vegetable-tanned hides. Unlike synthetic or heavily corrected leather, genuine full-grain hides exhibit natural characteristics:

• Subtle variations in grain texture, growth marks, and tonal depth.
• Gradual darkening and golden patina development through natural sun exposure and handling.
• Hand-painted edge coatings and hand-finished saddle stitching which may show microscopic artisanal nuances.

Orders, Pricing & Bespoke Commissions

All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) or your selected local currency (USD, EUR, GBP), inclusive of applicable goods and services taxes.

Order Confirmation: An order is deemed accepted once payment is processed and an official Degree Order Token is issued. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust an order in the rare event of inventory discrepancy or verification failure.

Bespoke & Personalized Pieces: Any item featuring hot-stamped monograms, customized leather finishes, or special measurements is non-refundable once hide cutting commences.

White-Glove Shipping & Consignment Dispatch

Each Degree creation is nestled within a protective cotton dust bag and presented in an archival rigid gift box before dispatch:

• Domestic Delivery (India): Complimentary insured express delivery on all orders exceeding ₹12,000. Transit typically requires 2 to 4 business days.
• International Delivery: Dispatched via DHL Express with full tracking and signature verification. Import duties are computed at destination according to national customs guidelines.
• Transit Insurance: All consignments are fully insured until physical delivery to your designated address is completed.

14-Day Quiet Luxury Returns & Exchanges

We want you to treasure your Degree piece for a lifetime. Should you wish to return or exchange an unmonogrammed piece, we offer a seamless 14-day return window from the date of recorded delivery.

To qualify for a full refund:

• The item must be in entirely unused, pristine condition with protective film intact.
• All original packaging, certificates of authenticity, and dust bags must be returned in their original state.
• Returns must be initiated through the Orders & Consignment Portal or by contacting Concierge.

Lifetime Stitch & Structural Warranty

Degree provides an unconditional Lifetime Stitch Guarantee. We stand behind our traditional saddle stitching, bridle rivets, and solid brass hardware.

Should any seam or hardware component require restoration due to craftsmanship failure, our master artisans will re-stitch or restore your bag at our atelier free of charge. Normal wear and tear, intentional misuse, or exposure to harsh solvents are excluded.

Intellectual Property & Design Rights

All bag silhouettes, photography, typographic treatments, brand assets, logos, and written narratives on this site are the exclusive intellectual property of Degree Luxury Leather Goods. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial imitation is strictly prohibited under international copyright laws.

Governing Jurisdiction & Concierge Arbitration

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any controversy or dispute arising under these terms shall first be addressed through amicable consultation with the Degree Client Concierge. Unresolved disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of New Delhi, India.
